Wildeco at the Ewen Maddock Dam Environment and Recreation Centre was a joint initiative of the Caloundra City Council and Federal Government. Located at Landsborough, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, the centre is situated on 50 hectares surrounded by 200 hectares of State Forest.

The accommodation consists of bunk rooms, fixed tents and tent sites. There is a fully equipped dining room / recreation hall, environment education centre and administration building. Quality meals are provided by our cooks, with children helping with wiping up.

Our program has been developed to provide worthwhile educational outcomes, in conjunction with confidence building, challenge and adventure activities.

The recreational activities available include: canoeing, swimming, low and high ropes courses, problem solving initiatives, bushwalking, archery.
